This handbook is for the Autotroph crew, covering what we do, why we click, where we work, and how we operate.
From the beginning we’ve always approached work organically, preferring to encourage autonomy and self-direction over direct management. Weโre a small team composed of artists, techies, and creative types. Weโre a simple bunch. We brew beer, we climb rocks, we ride motorcycles, we draw, we cook, and we teach.
As we have grown it’s become more difficult to keep the whole team on the same page. It’s also become more complex to introduce a new member to the crew, getting them up to speed with how we work, where we work, and why we do what we do.
The goal of this handbook to clarify who we are as a company and align us as a team behind what we do. It is also a resource for anyone joining the crew to learn the ropes and to get introduced to all the things that make us tick.
